Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection Agreement
Stoneity Software Joint Stock Company (“Stoneity”)
Subject and Scope of the Agreement
This Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection Agreement (“Agreement”) is prepared to determine the procedures and principles regarding the processing, storage, and protection of information and personal data provided by the User within the scope of using digital services offered by Stoneity, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”), relevant secondary legislation, and international data protection principles.
Definitions of the Parties
Data Controller: Stoneity Software Joint Stock Company.
User: The natural or legal person who creates an account on the Stoneity platform and benefits from the digital services.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Personal data within the scope are processed for the purposes of;
Provision of the service and execution of operational processes,
Identity verification, security, and access control,
Technical support and customer communication,
Improvement, development, and performance tracking of the services,
Fulfillment of legal obligations.
Data Collection Methods
Data are collected electronically, through in-platform operations, support requests, cookies, and digital forms.
Data Retention and Security
Stoneity takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, disclosure, or misuse. Data may be stored in Turkey or abroad in accordance with Article 9 of the PDPL.
Data Transfer
Personal data may only be transferred under the following circumstances:
Technical providers required for service delivery,
Authorized public institutions and organizations,
User’s explicit consent,
Legal obligations.
No transfer is made to third parties for commercial marketing purposes.
User Rights
The User has all rights under Article 11 of the PDPL (requesting information, correction, deletion, objection, copy request, etc.).
Effective Date
This Agreement enters into force when the User starts using the platform.
